Location of Snowpark Gastein

Getting to Snowpark Gastein is incredibly easy, because it’s centrally located right within the Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski area. If you’re coming from Angertal, the Angertalbahn takes you up the mountain, allowing you to easily make your way to the snow park on skis. Another option is to hop on the Stubnerkogelbahn cable car, which will transport you to the top of Stubnerkogel. From there, you can enjoy a leisurely descent along the Angertal run or opt for an exhilarating journey down the challenging B24 Talblick run, leading you directly into Snowpark Gastein.

By the way: Once you’ve mastered the freestyle park, the Burgstall lift is ready to whisk you back to the starting point.

Snowpark Gastein as a playground for shredders

Within the snow park, there are a total of 30 obstacles waiting for you. The enthusiastic crew is always eager to provide you with a freestyle experience that stands out. The Stubnermulde freestyle park consists of three distinct areas, allowing you to progressively refine your skills:

  • Beginner area: This line features two small jumps, wide boxes and tubes, making it the ideal playground for newbies to practice their first tricks.
  • Intermediate area: Here, you’ll find kickers ranging from five to ten meters in length, launching you into the air with ample time to capture your stylish moves on camera. Also popular with shredders: the A-frame box, picknicker and jib pole jam.
  • Advanced area: Shredding pros can put their skills to the test on challenging rails, tubes and the wallride.

Chill & refill at Stubneralm

If you’ve worked up a sweat while shredding, the sundeck of Stubneralm is the perfect spot to catch your breath. From this laid-back vantage point, you can enjoy the finest view of the snow park and watch other freestylers practice their tricks. The perfect opportunity to learn from their 720°s, spins, tail grabs and flips!
