"First Aid on the mountain" and Hiking circuit day
09.07.2022, 15.08.2022 | Schlossalm
What used to be possible only for skiers in winter is also available for hikers in summer on the special circuit hiking days.
Visit the attractions on the Stubnerkogel and on the Schlossalm (the suspension bridge, panorama platform, rock trail, figures in the rocks,...) all in one day.
The lifts (Kaserebenbahn, Senderbahn and Stubnerkogelbahn) are in operation non-stop from 8.30 am. to 4 pm.
Circuit hiking day with "a valley learns how to rescue"
The project “A valley learns to save” was conceived and tested by the Gastein Red Cross. It's about the thing - bringing people closer to first aid. In an emergency, every second counts and first aid can save lives. Experienced instructors from the Red Cross explain the most important principles at the various stations. In many practical exercises, the participants learn the tools, the handles and measures to be able to help in an emergency. The participation is free of charge and offer a lot of practical input with little expenditure of time and in a realistic environment. All participants who complete the three stations receive a certificate and a small gift (hiking first aid kit).
Dates: June 26th, July 9th and August 15th 2022
The Red Cross offers 35 minutes of practical lessons on "First Aid" at three stations throughout the day:
- Stubnerkogel - Stubnerkogelbahn mountain station: basic measures
- Schlossalm - Kaserebenbahn mountain station: Fall injuries
- Schlossalm - Schlossalmbahn mountain station: reanimation
