One of the longest downhill runs in the Eastern Alps - a real challenge for the winter sports enthusiast.
This year, Bad Hofgastein will once again host the spectacular race on April 1st 2023 on the north downhill run of the Schlossalm. The route with start at the Hohe Scharte is considered one of the longest downhill runs in the Eastern Alps. The racetrack must be covered in the "wild race" in Super-G style. It takes enormous strength and endurance in the thighs to be cheered by the fans at the finish line the Aeroplanstadl after about 6 minutes. Skiers and Snowboarders can test themselves, the age groups for men and women are 18+, 35+, and 50+.

Friday, 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. entrance area of Alpentherme Gastein

All participants can expect a top event with a great social program, a discounted mountain railroad ticket, and discounted admission to the Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.
Also the spurring on of the athletes should not go unrewarded. In the fan zones at the Aeroplanstadl and at the Schlossalm valley station warm drinks and good mood are waiting for you!
On 31st March and 1st April, the pists H1, H2 and H2a are temporary closed for preperations and during the race.
