Both the climbing wall and the boulder park offer excellent opportunities to fine-tune your technique, work on your strength and stamina, or make your first climbing experiences.

Demonstrate your dexterity at the boulder park at Schlossalm

Bouldering is a climbing method that requires strategic thinking, balance, and strength. The best thing about it: You don’t need lots of equipment as you only climb at jump height.

Right below Skigastein’s picturesque Schlossalmblick viewing platform, you can find a boulder park with boulders of various sizes. Use the handholds and footholds to tackle them!

Exquisite rock experiences: the climbing wall in Skigastein

At the climbing wall at Schlossalm, you can experience natural rock climbing at 2,000 meters above sea level – breathtaking mountain views included! The eight-meter wall features seven routes full of challenges for all skill levels. Five of them are top-rope routes, with a climbing rope already in place.

Please note: The climbing wall requires professional climbing equipment!

Location and opening hours of the climbing highlights

The boulder park and climbing wall are located near the mountain station of Schlossalmbahn cable car. The easiest and most comfortable way to get there is to hop on the cable car. The opening hours of the boulder park and climbing wall correspond to those of the local cable cars.
