The snowshoe trail in Dorfgastein can be walked from the middle station uphill to the mountain station or alternatively from the mountain station downhill to the middle station, depending on your preference. Dorfgastein snowshoe trail – Route description
70 meters of elevation gain – high above the tree line: On this serene loop above the Großarl Valley, you’ll cover approximately one kilometer in pristine, snowy surroundings with your trusty snowshoes. Your adventure starts right at the Gipfelbahn Fulseck mountain station. From there, you’ll walk towards the new mountain station on Kieserl, where welcoming locations for a break like the Gipfelstadl await. Revel in the awe-inspiring mountain scenery and enjoy breathtaking views of the Großarl Valley towards Hochkönig and Dorfgastein towards Bernkogel!
