Suspension Bridge Stubnerkogel
The 140 metre long suspended bridge on the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein breaks two records at the same time: it is the first hanging bridge at an altitude of 2,300 m and it can be walked on all year round.
Panorama Platform Glocknerblick
This round, scenic “plateau” is seven meters in diameter, made mainly of steel and wood. On its sides, wire-mesh fences provide additional safety for visitors, but do not obstruct the view. The upper area, which actually protrudes out over the edge of the mountain, also features grid apertures in the floor, allowing visitors to peer down into the abyss below.
Rock Trail Stubnerkogel
The rock trail Stubnerkogel is designed as a walking loop starting and finishing close to the mountain terminal of the Stubnerkogel lift. It begins around 400 meters south of the lift station at 2,217 meters above sea level. The trail leads through a series of areas of steepish, craggy rocks to a striking lookout point at roughly the same elevation. From there a short hiking path completes the circuit back to the Stubnerkogel.
Safe Footing Course
On the safe footing course your via ferrata skills can be tested in a very short route, before climbing a real via ferrata. You practice the process and belay in a via ferrata. An exit is possible at any time.

Five of the seven permanent climbing routes are so-called “top rope”, meaning they feature a permanently anchored safety rope.
