Suspension Bridge Stubnerkogel
The 140 metre long suspended bridge on the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein breaks two records at the same time: it is the first hanging bridge at an altitude of 2,300 m and it can be walked on all year round.
Panorama Platform Glocknerblick
This round, scenic “plateau” is seven meters in diameter, made mainly of steel and wood. On its sides, wire-mesh fences provide additional safety for visitors, but do not obstruct the view. The upper area, which actually protrudes out over the edge of the mountain, also features grid apertures in the floor, allowing visitors to peer down into the abyss below.
Rock Trail Stubnerkogel
The rock trail Stubnerkogel is designed as a walking loop starting and finishing close to the mountain terminal of the Stubnerkogel lift. It begins around 400 meters south of the lift station at 2,217 meters above sea level. The trail leads through a series of areas of steepish, craggy rocks to a striking lookout point at roughly the same elevation. From there a short hiking path completes the circuit back to the Stubnerkogel.
Panorama Platform Talblick
At Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein last year, a new viewing platform was created, the "Talblick" with a wonderful view to the north via Bad Hofgastein. The step-like platform invites you to relax and linger.
Aussichtsplattform Schlossalmblick
There is a great panorama platform to discover on the Schlossalm. The platform offers visitors a great view of the entire Schlossalm area. The Schlossalmblick protrudes over the rocks, which is why you also have the feeling of floating. There is also a transparent grille in the floor of this viewing platform, which gives you sensational views into the depths. On the platform there is also a bench to linger, have a snack or just enjoy the view. Even non-skiers can reach the attraction through the winter hiking trail "Panoramaweg Schlossalmblick".
