Pedestrian tickets for Skigastein
Explore the picturesque snow-covered Alpine region on foot – on the two winter hiking trails on Schlossalm or with wonderful panorama from the Stubnerkogel viewing plattforms. The pedestrian tickets are valid for a single ascent and descent on the Schlossalmbahn, Stubnerkogelbahn, Senderbahn, Goldbergbahn, Graukogelbahn or Gipfelbahn Fulseck cable cars and lifts. Our tip: Be quick, as only a limited number of tickets are available online at a discounted rate.

The Winter Hiking Connection links Schlossalm in Bad Hofgastein with Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein. With the Schlossalmbahn, Kaserebenbahn, Senderbahn and Stubnerkogelbahn cable cars, pedestrians can comfortably travel between the two ski mountains. A beautiful winter hiking trail combined with the cable car connection offers a unique winter experience and spectacular panoramic views in both directions. Alpine sunshine galore: with the Pedestrian Sun Card for Skigastein
The Pedestrian Sun Card is valid from 26 November 2026 until 2 May 2027. It costs € 155.00 and includes one ascent and descent per day on the Schlossalmbahn, Stubnerkogelbahn, Senderbahn, Goldbergbahn, or Gipfelbahn Fulseck cable cars and lifts. The ideal ticket to spend the whole winter on foot in the mountains, experience winter hiking trails, high alpine panoramas and the finest hut cuisine. Please note that tolls, bus rides, and transportation of ski or snowboard equipment are not included in this ticket.
General provisions & discounts for ski touring and pedestrian tickets
Before you book a ski touring or pedestrian ticket for Skigastein, you should know the following:
- Individually personalized tickets: All tickets are non-transferable.
- Deposit for keycards: For every keycard ticket, you are required to pay a deposit of € 3.00.
- Photo required: Ski passes with a validity of 9 days are personalized with a digital photo of the ticket holder at the ticket office
With a valid ID, the following applies when purchasing a ticket in Skigastein:
- Adults: born in 2007 or before
- Youths: born between 2008 and 2010
- Children: born between 2011 and 2020
- Toddlers: Kids born in 2021 or after go free.
- Discounts: Persons with a disability ID card (with a documented disability level of 70 % or more) receive a discount on standard ticket prices
