At the ski area and freeride paradise of Sportgastein, Goldbergbahn cable car and Kreuzkogellift take you up to the starting points of many great slopes and off-piste routes.

Operating hours of the lifts at Graukogel, the natural-snow ski resort

At Graukogel ski resort, you can hop on Graukogelbahn or Reichebenlift to get to the starting point of your snow adventure – from Thursday to Sunday.

Thanks to the good snow conditions, the Graukogel will be open again up to the middle station from Thursday, 26.02.

Even in autumn, the lifts are open on selected days, giving you unforgettable mountain moments with breathtaking panoramic views.

Please note: In case of snowfall or bad weather, the Graukogel will remain closed for safety reasons.

TIP: In summer there will be mountain cart rides on the Fulseck in Dorfgastein from the mountain station to the middle station.

Slope closure in Skigastein

The ski slopes of the Schlossalm - Angertal - Stubnerkogel ski area are open from 8:30 a.m., on the Graukogel and in Sportgastein from 9:00 a.m.. Depending on the location of the ski slope and the time of year, the ski slopes are closed from 4:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.
Skiing on or entering the slopes during this time is prohibited! Exceptions apply for evening ski tours and early morning skiing.
