To make it easy for you to plan your stay in Skigastein, we have listed the operating hours of the cable cars of Gastein for you. The number of lifts depends on the snow conditions.

Operating hours of the cable cars at Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski resort
The family-friendly ski resort is the largest interconnected ski area of Skigastein, boasting varied slopes for all skill levels. Highly efficient: The network of lifts and cable cars operates at the following season times:
- Ski area connection Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel: from Friday, December 12, 2025 to Sunday, April 06, 2026 daily
- Partial operation on the Schlossalm ski area from Friday, November 28, 2025
- Partial operation on the Stubnerkogel ski area from Friday, November 28, 2025
- Trainings area Ski center Angertal with GASTI Park: from Saturday, December 6, 2025
- Off-season partial operation Schlossalm: from Tuseday, April 07, 2026 to Sunday, April, 12, 2026
Operating time daily from 8.30 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.
Operating time until January 31, 2026: from 8.30 a.m. until 3.30 p.m.
Operating hours of the cable cars in Sportgastein
At the ski area and freeride paradise of Sportgastein, Goldbergbahn cable car and Kreuzkogellift take you up to the starting points of many great slopes and off-piste routes.

Operating hours of the lifts at Graukogel, the natural-snow ski resort
At Graukogel ski resort, you can hop on Graukogelbahn or Reichebenlift to get to the starting point of your snow adventure – from Thursday to Sunday.
Ski area Graukogel: ski season start with sufficient snow conditions, operation planed from Thursday, December 25, 2025 until Sunday, March 22, 2026 - open from Thursday to Sunday
Operating time daily from 9.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.
Operating time until January 31, 2026: from 9.00 a.m. until 3.30 p.m.
Operating hours of the cable cars at Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski resort
Opening hours for winter 2025/2026 will be announced.

- ❄️ Ski Operation Update ❄️ On the Schlossalm, the Sendleiten, Weitmoser and Hohe Scharte lifts will also be open from 6 to 8 December. In Angertal, the Senderbahn and the Judau practice area will be available daily starting 6 December. From 12 December onwards, the Skischaukel connection and Sportgastein will be open.
