Take the Stubnerkogelbahn from Bad Gastein or the Senderbahn from the Angertal valley and soar up to enjoy the magnificent view from the summit of the Stubnerkogel. Stretch your legs a bit, get a thrill on the suspension bridge, and enjoy a hot cocoa at the summit restaurant—what more could you ask for! Right next to the Senderbahn mountain station is the Gastein Photo Point; this wooden “Gastein” sign combines a unique mountain panorama with comfortable seating and is a popular photo spot. The circular hiking trail leads past spectacular viewing platforms: Glocknerblick, Talblick, and the Felsenweg with its mini suspension bridge.
