Schlossalm

The Schlossalm is best suited for people with disabilities in summer. Once at the top you can enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountain landscape. The Schlossalm is very suitable if you are traveling with children, as a large adventure playground with a slackline park and a giant jump pillow awaits you. These attractions are located right next to the mountain station and can be reached within a few meters and just a small ascent.
Another possibility is a hike to the beautiful Schlossalmsee, barely 600 m away. The path to this lake is wide, but it does climb. In addition, it is also possible to circle the Schlossalmsee since this circular route has no climbs. You can find detailed information under the heading "Hiking"
Please keep in mind, however, that the "Kleine Scharte" mountain restaurant next to the mountain station on the Schlossalm is not barrier-free, as access is via stairs.
Barrier-free toilets are available at the mountain station of the Schlossalm cable car.

Basically, we are happy to welcome mono- or bi-skiers to our skiing area. With our helpful staff, well-groomed slopes of all difficulty levels and modern cable cars, we want to offer every guest a memorable sporting adventure. However, you should keep in mind that Gastein is one of the more demanding ski areas due to the large number of red-rated slopes.

Stubnerkogel

The Stubnerkogel is suitable for people with disabilities in both summer and winter. The unique suspension bridge, the panorama platform “Glocknerblick”, the Felsenweg, the Fun Center and the summit restaurant are right next to the Stubnerkogel cable car mountain station.
There are also barrier-free toilet facilities at the mountain station.
Suspension bridge

The suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel is a unique experience and easily accessible by wheelchair. The spectacular bridge starts behind the summit restaurant and can be reached via the terrace of the restaurant. The suspension bridge is 140 m long and hovers approx. 28 m above the abyss. The numerous suspension cables make you feel completely safe. Also, the bridge can withstand wind speeds of up to 200 km / h. Oncoming guests can easily walk past the wheelchair and also turning is possible with the wheelchair on the suspension bridge.
