With the construction jutting out from the edge of the mountain, Schlossalmblick viewing platform makes you feel as if you were “floating” high above the abyss.

The viewing platform is perched on a promontory, jutting out vertiginously from the rock face. Thanks to the see-through mesh wire balustrade and steel grating, you can enjoy impressive 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below. The comfortable bench is the perfect place to take a break and savor the amazing views.

The majestic mountain landscape within reach: During the ride to the top with Schlossalmbahn cable car, you already enjoy breathtaking views. From the mountain station, it’s only a 15- to 20-minute walk to the impressive viewing platform, passing by a playground and a slackline, the Motorikweg trail and Kleine Scharte mountain restaurant.
