New Playground on Schlossalm Family Adventure at 2,000 Metres
Starting in July 2026, families visiting Schlossalm in Bad Hofgastein can look forward to a new highlight. Located right next to the mountain station and the “Hirsch & Maus” mountain restaurant, a spacious new recreation area invites visitors to play, explore and relax with a water play area, motor skills elements and panoramic swings. This new family paradise combines activity, nature and breathtaking views of the Gastein mountains.

Whether enjoying quality time together on the playground, taking a relaxing break at the mountain restaurant, or setting off on further adventures, the new playground on Schlossalm adds even more variety to summer in Gastein. A 200 m² pond with balancing features, creative play elements and lovingly designed figures such as marmots and gentians provide exciting experiences for young and old explorers alike.
