When winter reaches its most enjoyable phase, the SPORTI WEEKENDS begin in Sportgastein. Under the motto “Firn, Food & Sound,” Skigastein combines the best spring firn snow conditions with laid-back beats and culinary highlights in spring 2026 - all set within the high-alpine scenery of Sportgastein.

Over three event weekends, spring is celebrated on the slopes and on the terraces:
March 27–29, April 3–5 and April 10–12, 2026.
Ski operations continue daily until April 12, and afterwards run on weekends (Friday to Sunday) until May 1.

The SPORTI WEEKENDS stand for relaxed firn skiing, warm sunny days and a modern lifestyle setting in a high-alpine environment. Great DJs and local acts provide the soundtrack – from chilled sunset grooves to energetic live sets. Culinary offerings range from an aperitivo atmosphere with spritz and finger food to regional specialties served on sunny terraces.

Friday kicks off with Sunset Grooves, Saturday brings Firn & Beats to the slopes, and Sunday closes the weekend with chill vibes and brunch.

Three ski huts in Sportgastein host the events:
the Weitblick at the middle station (1,915 m), the Goldberg Stubn at the base station of the Goldbergbahn, and the Valeriehaus in the valley at 1,600 m.

Firn tip: Early birds can enjoy perfect firn conditions starting at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets & Spring Specials

For the end of the season, Ski Gastein offers the “Ausschwingpreis”:
From April 7, day tickets are available in the online shop starting at €49.

Additionally, the Easter Family Special in Ski amadé runs from March 14, 2026 until the end of the season, offering extra benefits for families:
Children up to 15 years (born 2010 or later) ski for free when at least one parent purchases a 6-day ski pass.

New in spring 2026: the Ski & Thermal Spa Ticket – the strongest combo experience of the season.
Available for €99 until April 6 and €79 from April 7. First enjoy perfect firn descents, then relax deeply in the thermal spa – that’s how Gastein should be experienced.
