Kleine Scharte practice via ferrata– Route description

From the Schlossalmbahn mountain station, it’s just a 10-minute walk to the start of the Kleine Scharte via ferrata. Follow the trail to the right, then continue left along the hiking trail towards Türchlwand until you reach a crest. The route then leads straight ahead for a short distance until you reach the starting point located on the right.

The via ferrata was created on a pillar in a steep meadow slope, initially with a difficulty level of B/C. Upon reaching the upper part, you can choose from three options to tailor the route to your abilities. The descent leads you via the hiking trail back to the mountain station.

Our tip: Combine the route with the Mauskarspitze or Weitmoser via ferratas for an even more varied adventure!
