Find out more about the accessibility of the viewing platforms on our mountains
The “Stubnerkogel” in Bad Gastein is a wonderful panoramic mountain. On the great viewing platforms, you can enjoy the unique panorama. For people with disabilities, we recommend the 140 m long suspension bridge as a highlight. It is very easy to reach from the mountain station of the Stubnerkogel cable car in summer and winter.
Another viewing platform, the “Glocknerblick”, is just 250 m away. It is also very suitable for people with disabilities, since the path there is very wide, flat and short. The platform is therefore easily accessible in summer. In winter, though the path is usually snow-covered, it is kept maintained.
Furthermore, the viewing platform known as the “Talblick” and a special path through the rocks called the “Felsenweg” are reachable from the Stubnerkogel. However, the distance from the mountain station is a little longer and the path is not flat.
