Jagasteig – route description

The easy family hiking trail starts in a central location at the mountain station of Gipfelbahn Fulseck cable car. The signposted trail starts with a walk along Biotopensteig trail, which takes you past ponds and magical power places. Your first destination is Arltörl, where you should take the time to marvel at the chapel before turning left and continuing through the forest towards Grabnerhütte mountain hut. It’s there that the actual Jagasteig trail starts. Wooden signposts along the way provide you with interesting information about local wildlife. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a forest animal along the trail!

The “Wanderabenteuer” (“hiking adventure”) brochure is available from the local cable cars or at the Tourism Association of Dorfgastein.
