Monday, 7 September to Sunday, 8 November from 8.30 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

Summer operating hours of Goldbergbahn cable car in Sportgastein

Goldbergbahn cable car only operates on special promotion days during summer – on the weekend of the “Nassfelder Almfest”. On these days, Goldbergbahn cable car is in operation. Season tickets and Almorama Cards (multi-day tickets) are also valid for the Goldbergbahn on the action days at the Almfest in Sportgastein.

On the special promotion days: Saturday, 8 August and Sunday, 9 August

from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m

TIP: From the Goldbergbahn mountain station, it is just a few minutes' walk to the Kreuzkogel summit cross at 2,686 meters. The ascent on the action days is rewarded with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain landscape. Be there and experience the mountain panorama!

Operating hours of the cable cars at Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski resort

The following operating hours apply to the Dorfgastein-Großarl ski area for the 2026/27 winter season:

Season start: December 4, 2026

Season end: April 4, 2027

Fulseck Summit Lift, Kieserl Lift, Panorama Lift:

First ascent: 8:30 a.m.
Last descent from the top station: 4:00 p.m.
Last descent from the middle station: 4:30 p.m.

Slope closure in Skigastein

The ski slopes of the Schlossalm - Angertal - Stubnerkogel ski area are open from 8:30 a.m., on the Graukogel and in Sportgastein from 9:00 a.m.. Depending on the location of the ski slope and the time of year, the ski slopes are closed from 4:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.
Skiing on or entering the slopes during this time is prohibited! Exceptions apply for evening ski tours and early morning skiing.
