The Gastein mountain railroads attach great importance to offering barrier-free mountain experiences for all people. Due to this, the offer is continuously optimized. Below you can find comprehensive information about accessibility at the Gasteiner Bergbahnen.
People with disabilities (from a degree of disability of 70%) receive a reduction on the normal tariffs for 1 to 18 day ski passes upon presentation of their disabled pass.

The Stubnerkogel is most recommended for people with disabilities because you can also visit the unique suspension bridge without any problems. There is also the Glocknerblick viewing platform and the Fun Center. A refreshment stop is also assured thanks to the summit restaurant.

You will find parking spaces for people with disabilites at the following valley stations:
- Schlossalmbahn
- Stubnerkogelbahn
The summit restaurant on the Stubnerkogel is barrier-free and easily accessible.
The mountain restaurant "Kleine Scharte" on the Schlossalm is not accessible as there are stairs at the entrance. However, you can stop off at the restaurant Weitmoserin directly at the valley station of the Schlossalm cable car. This restaurant is barrier-free.

During hiking circuit days in summer, you can use four different cable cars in one day with just one ticket. However, this offer is not ideal for people with disabilities as the “Kaserebenbahn” cable car is not at platform level and there are stairs at the entrance to the “Senderbahn” cable car.
