Open summit day

On the "Open Summit Day" on Sunday, March 17^th 2024, the ascent and descent is free of charge for all pedestrians. The Schlossalmbahn, Senderbahn, Stubnerkogelbahn, Graukogelbahn and Goldbergbahn lifts take you up the mountain, from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain landscape and the Gastein Valley.

TIP: On this day you can enjoy free jazz concerts at the Graukogelhütte and at the Kleine Scharte mountain restaurant on the Schlossalm from 12.00 noon!

Spectacular mountain panorama on the Stubnerkogel with 360° views, leisurely winter hikes on the Schlossalm, relaxation surrounded by majestic stone pine trees on the Graukogel with views of Bad Hofgastein or mountain air and views of the Hohe Tauern National Park in Sportgastein wanted? Our cable cars take locals and guests comfortable up to the summits, where they can enjoy winter in a particularly special way. You can get your free pedestrian ticket at the cash desks of the Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG (Schlossalm, Angertal, Stubnerkogel, Graukogel and Sportgastein).

Info: The "Open Summit Day", which was canceled in December due to bad weather conditions, will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024. The event will not take place in case of extremely adverse weather conditions.
